Picture-in-picture

A small window showing what a selected camera sees.

Opening

#

Select a camera and the window docks bottom-right of the 3D pane, following the selection. Pin keeps it, and the next camera you select opens a second window above it.

Several windows

#

Up to four at once. Over the plan each is its own small 3D view, which is what the cap pays for.

Unpinned
One unpinned window follows the selection and closes when the selection leaves.
Pinned
Pinned windows stay until you close them. Preview, a shot or a blocking position pins a window.
Twice
A camera already on screen is not opened again.
A fifth
Replaces the unpinned window, or with four pinned asks you to close one.

Moving and sizing

#

Drag the title bar to move it and the corner grip to resize it, keeping the sensor aspect. It grows to the size of the pane, and its place and size are remembered per browser.

Fullscreen

Esc#

Fills the pane with the picture, at the sensor aspect, and hides the 3D toolbar under it. Esc or Exit fullscreen brings the window back to the size and place it had. The 3D view underneath is not changed: you are still in the mode you were in.

Aiming

#

Drag inside the picture to pan and tilt the camera, one undo step per drag, and wheel over it to change the focal length. It works in the 3D pane and over the plan, and the camera's pose is a document edit that everyone sees.

Buttons

#

Pin, watch the camera, save a full-size snapshot, fullscreen, close.
